A Second Home
Rich Way Cafe was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves a place where they can get a proper, honest cooked breakfast and a friendly conversation. Located at 4-5 Watton (near the scenic Brecon canal basin), the cafe has become a cherished sanctuary for our community.
Owner Georgie built the cafe to be relaxed, unpretentious, and deeply welcoming. Whether you are a local resident catching up on the morning news, a hard-working tradesperson needing a filling start to the day, or a tourist stepping off a canal boat for a quick tea and cake, Georgie and the team are ready to welcome you.
We don't do tiny, complex plates. We do proper, hearty British cafe food. We source quality ingredients, cook everything fresh to order, and make sure you leave with a full stomach and a warm heart.

Welcoming All Walkers
Being just off the Watton and close to the canal paths, we love hosting walkers, hikers, and their dogs in our outdoor seating area (weather permitting). Because we have an open kitchen, the indoor cafe area is kept pet-free.

The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal is one of the most beautiful waterways in the country. Rich Way Cafe sits just a brief stroll from the canal basin, making us the perfect starting point or reward at the end of a scenic walk.
